Specific Trades Are Always Needed at Our Home For Kids Battling Cancer

Our mission, here, at the Korral, is not just to provide lodging for families of children battling cancer, but to make it feel as much like home as we can. We don’t just want to supply the basics – beds, bathrooms, and a place to sit down – but make sure that we are making this trying time as comfortable and easy as possible. We have many donors that help us purchase the supplies needed and many volunteers that help us keep the Korral clean and fully stocked, but we are always in need of reliable tradesmen and women. If you or anyone you know are experienced in the following areas and are willing to donate time and expertise, everyone here, children, their families, and our staff included, would be so appreciative:

  • Painters to help with touch-ups and keep the space looking clean, well kempt, and inviting.
  • Plumbers to assist us in the occasional plumbing issues that all well-traveled lodges encounter.
  • Electricians to keep us lit and charged, safely.
  • General contractors for structural repairs, when needed.

Of course, these are just the top resources needed, but we welcome any other repair or maintenance experts that would be willing to donate time. For questions on this or anything else we do, we invite you to email us at your convenience. Again, we will never be able to fully express our gratitude for all of those who have helped us, and continue to help us, achieve our goals.
